Looking for a job? Come to the first-ever Martin Luther King Day of Service Jobs & Opportunity Fair on Monday, January 16th from 9:00am – 1:00pm. Jobs will be available in the health care, construction, retail and other industries. Participating employers include Target, Comcast, Temple University, Shoprite and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops on resume writing, interview skills, dressing for success, credit repair and job search strategies for ex-offenders. You can even create an email account and a resume in the onsite computer lab! Pre-registration is required. Sign up below.

I pre-registered on Friday January 13,2012, as soon as I heard about this job fair around 2:00 pm. when I got their at 9:00 my name wasn’t on the list so I was told I couldn’t go in to the the room where the jobs where, but I could use the computer to create a resume and get resources, I told the lady I’m in a job program and do that for six hrs a day. So I went back home. Its crazy how thing are so unorganized even with something as important as a job fair.some people didnt even know that had to pre-register,they went back home too, and those who did register name wasnt on the list either, they just stood their in unbelife. what a crazy morning.
